Our Tips for Staying Safe

Here are a few suggestions about things to consider to ensure you and your friends stay safe on a night out in Hull City Centre:

  • Make sure you store the City of Hull Street Angels emergency number in your phone, so you can easily reach us when you need us: 0749 442 0622
    • Don’t forget: You can always ask the door staff to radio us if you don’t have our number handy
  • Keep together with your friends; try to avoid walking on your own and if your friend is in trouble, ensure they get help
  • Pre-order taxis wherever possible
  • Check it’s a valid taxi; take a photo of your driver’s license which should be on display – genuine taxi drivers will be OK with this
  • Here are some numbers which may come in handy
